A medallion man is the kind of cheesy guy who hangs around bars trying to pick up much younger women, wearing a satin shirt unbuttoned nearly to the waist with a hairy chest and a big jewellry pendant on a long chain round his neck, usually with an overflashy watch and too-tight pants .
